The Government of Navarra, through the Department of Rural Development, Environment and Local Administration and the public company (GAN), have begun the restoration of the Bidasoa River, agreed upon measures with the local agents involved, within the framework of the European project Irekibai life. This program aims to recover the good ecological status of the basin, which will favor the fish movement and increase the capacity of the river habitat.
